Q2 – The Library on the Grass

During the last days before the summer break, we spent time outside in the sun or shade to experience portable forms of art and design. We set up a one-day library with book launches, readings, performances, and a picnic in the green with the following contributions.

Lonneke van der Palen released her first book with Free Pony Press which unfolded into a pop-up exhibition. Caroline Nordell read from a zine self-published on the occasion of the event. Otsium Books presented their first two titles and told about their recently founded publishing house. Daniel Yousefi read from his second novel Återkomster. To get you fully equipped with further readings for the summer, Nord books offered a selection of books.

To activate further senses, Una Hallgrímsdóttir/Cornershop had prepared a variety of bites and refreshments. David Donald introduced us to the days program including a live performances by LisaLove and Innocent. Last but not least people could find comfort on a large size community blanket made by Amanda Bellman in collaboration with various workshop participants.
